Biomab Egfr 50 mg Injection belongs to the group of anti-cancer medicines used to treat head and neck cancer with concurrent chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy. It may also be indicated in the treatment of glioma (growth of tumours in the brain or spinal cord) and nasopharyngeal cancer.
Biomab Egfr 50 mg Injection contains Nimotuzumab, a recombinant humanised monoclonal antibody that works by binding to receptors on cancer cells and prevents them from destroying the body’s immune system. Thereby, it helps treat cancer.
