Beclate 200 Rotacap belongs to a group of medicines called corticosteroids used to prevent and control the symptoms of asthma. Asthma is a respiratory condition caused by hypersensitive airways, which become inflamed, swollen and filled with mucous, making breathing difficult. Symptoms include wheezing, difficulty breathing, chest tightness, and cough.
Beclate 200 Rotacap contains Beclomethasone dipropionate that works by preventing the release of certain chemicals in the body that cause inflammatory reactions such as swelling and irritation in the lungs. Thus making breathing easier.
Use Beclate 200 Rotacap as prescribed. In some cases, Beclate 200 Rotacap may cause certain common side effects such as thrush in the mouth and throat, hoarseness of voice, and sore tongue or throat. These side effects usually do not require medical attention and will gradually resolve over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen.
Do not use Beclate 200 Rotacap if you are allergic to any of its components. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to get pregnant, or breastfeeding. Beclate 200 Rotacap is not recommended for children below 5years. Do not consume alcohol while using Beclate 200 Rotacap as there may be an interaction. It is not recommended to treat acute attacks or episodes of asthma. Before using Beclate 200 Rotacap , let your doctor know if you have ever been treated for TB (tuberculosis).
