About Beclate N Cream

Beclate N Cream is a corticosteroid medicine used to treat various inflammatory skin conditions. It is used in the treatment of eczema (a skin condition with inflamed, itchy, cracked and rough skin), psoriasis (a skin disorder covered with white scales and bumpy (uneven) red patches), dermatitis (a skin inflammation associated with redness, dry, and itchy skin) and other skin infections caused due to bacteria. Bacterial skin infection occurs when harmful bacteria enter the body through broken skin, cuts, or burns and cause infection.

Beclate N Cream is a combination medicine containing Beclomethasone (corticosteroid) and Neomycin (antibiotic). Beclomethasone helps reduce inflammation by acting on the immune system. It reduces the release of certain chemicals that cause inflammation. Neomycin works by inhibiting the protein synthesis required for the bacteria to carry out vital functions, eventually leading to its death. This effect helps in reducing swelling, pain, and discomfort.

Beclate N Cream may cause certain side effects, such as itching, dryness, redness, and a burning sensation at the application site. These side effects are temporary and gradually resolve over time. If these side effects persist, please consult your doctor. Beclate N Cream is an external topical preparation. Do not use more than the recommended dose of medicine. The dose of the medicine will be decided by your physician based on the condition.

Beclate N Cream should be avoided if you are allergic to it. Please do not use it more often or for a longer time than your doctor prescribed, and also, do not stop the medication abruptly. Notify your doctor if you have any other skin infections or have undergone surgery. Also, inform your doctor if you develop any skin infections while using this medicine. Beclate N Cream weakens your immune system, so stay away from people who are sick. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, talk to your doctor before using this medicine. Beclate N Cream is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age unless prescribed by your paediatrician.

It reduces the release of certain chemicals that cause inflammation. It decreases the activity of the immune system by blocking white blood cells (WBC) from attacking the body cells (target cells). Neomycin works by inhibiting the protein synthesis required for the bacteria to carry out vital functions and eventually leads to its death. This effect helps in reducing swelling, pain, and discomfort.
