About B-Hold Tablet

B-Hold Tablet is primarily used to treat the common cold and allergy symptoms like sneezing, watery eyes or itchy/watery nose and throat. The common cold is a respiratory illness affecting the nose and throat, mostly caused by 'rhinovirus'. The virus spreads quickly through droplets in the air when a person who is sick sneezes, coughs, or talks.

B-Hold Tablet contains Paracetamol, Phenylephrine hydrochloride, Chlorpheniramine maleate, and Caffeine. Paracetamol inhibits the production of certain chemical messengers in the brain known as 'prostaglandins' responsible for pain and fever. Phenylephrine hydrochloride helps shrink the blood vessels in the nasal passage, thereby reducing the stuffy nose. Chlorpheniramine maleate blocks the action of histamine, a substance responsible for causing allergic reactions. Caffeine acts as a stimulant and increases alertness.

B-Hold Tablet can be taken with or without food or as directed by the physician. Your doctor will recommend how often you need to take B-Hold Tablet based on your medical condition. In some cases, B-Hold Tablet may cause common side effects such as drowsiness, sleepiness, nausea, fatigue, difficulty sleeping, and headache. Most 0f these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, consult your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Do not consume B-Hold Tablet if you are allergic or hypersensitive to any of the components. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning for pregnancy, or breastfeeding. Inform your doctor if you have hypertension (high blood pressure), liver or kidney disease, or coronary artery disease (heart disease).
