About Aztel MT 50 Tablet

Aztel MT 50 Tablet belongs to the class of antihypertensive agents used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). Hypertension is a condition in which the blood exerts increased pressure on the walls of blood vessels leading to high blood pressure. Symptoms include headache, dizziness, nosebleeds, changes in vision, chest pain, weakness and dyspnea (shortness of breath).

Aztel MT 50 Tablet contains Metoprolol tartrate (beta-blocker) and telmisartan (angiotensin receptor blocker). Metoprolol tartrate reduces blood pressure by allowing the blood to flow more smoothly.
