An anxiety disorder is a mental health disorder characterised by feelings of excessive fear or worry that affect an individual's daily activities.

Anxipan Capsule is a combination of two drugs: Amitriptyline and Pantoprazole. Amitriptyline belongs to a class of medications known as tricyclic antidepressants, and it works by boosting serotonin levels in the brain that help regulate mood. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces the amount of acid in the stomach; thus, it relieves symptoms of heartburn, acid reflux, and gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD).

Take Anxipan Capsule as prescribed by your doctor. Depending on your medical condition, you are advised to take Anxipan Capsule for as long as your doctor prescribes it. Sometimes, you may experience common side effects such as headaches, diarrhoea, constipation, light-headedness or dizziness, dry mouth, sleepy or tiredness, and difficulty peeing. What if I have taken an overdose of Anxipan Capsule

Please do not exceed the recommended dose, as it might cause an overdose. Signs and symptoms of an overdose of Anxipan Capsule may include abnormally low blood pressure, convulsions, dilated pupils and other eye problems, disturbed concentration, drowsiness, confusion, hallucinations, rapid or irregular heartbeat, impaired heart function, reduced body temperature, stupor, and unresponsiveness or coma. Seek immediate medical attention if you observe these symptoms or think you might have taken too much. Do this even if there are no signs of discomfort or poisoning.
