Ampy 250mg Injection belongs to a class of medicines called penicillin antibiotics. Ampy 250mg Injection is commonly used to treat various bacterial infections of the lungs, skin, stomach, and kidneys, and sexually transmitted infections like gonorrhoea. Bacterial infection occurs when harmful bacteria enter the body, multiply and cause infection. It can infect any part of the body and multiply very quickly.

Ampy 250mg Injection contains Ampicillin that works against various types of bacteria. It inhibits the process of bacterial cell wall synthesis that is essential for the survival of bacteria. Thus, Ampy 250mg Injection kills bacteria and prevents the growth of bacterial infection.

Drug-Food Interaction: Avoid consumption of alcohol while receiving Ampy 250mg Injection as it can cause serious side effects. 

Drug-Disease Interaction: Ampy 250mg Injection should not be administered in patients with Renal dysfunction, colitis (inflammation of the colon) and hemodialysis.
