FAQs

Alfanef Sachet is used in the treatment of chronic kidney disease.
To treat your condition effectually, continue taking Alfanef Sachet for as long as your doctor has prescribed. Please do not stop taking Alfanef Sachet without consulting your doctor.
CKD is usually caused by various conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, kidney infections, kidney inflammation, kidney stones that keep coming back, an enlarged prostate, and long-term or regular use of certain medicines such as lithium and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
CKD can be diagnosed using blood and urine tests. These tests look for high levels of certain substances in the blood and urine that show your kidneys are malfunctioning. The results of these tests can be used to determine the stage of your kidney disease.
There are usually no symptoms of kidney disease in the early stages. At a more advanced stage, symptoms can include tiredness, swollen ankles, feet or hands, shortness of breath, feeling sick, and blood in your pee (urine). It may only be diagnosed if you have a blood or urine test for another reason, and the results show a possible problem with your kidneys.
Alfanef Sachet mimics the same catabolic pathways as amino acids and works by improving the body's metabolism, thereby improving renal function.
