About Aldik Tablet

Aldik Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called analgesics used to relieve pain and inflammation occurring due to trauma, surgery or everyday activity. It may also be indicated to relieve inflammation in degenerative and rheumatic conditions such as osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Aldik Tablet contains aceclofenac, trypsin, rutoside, and bromelain. Aceclofenac works by blocking the effect of chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation. Trypsin and bromelain increase blood supply and help the body produce substances that fight pain and swelling. Rutoside protects the body from free radical damage and fights swelling.

In some cases, Aldik Tablet may cause side effects such as nausea, fatigue, drowsiness, indigestion, and diarrhoea. Most of these side effects may not require medical attention and resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to the doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Let the doctor know if you are allergic to any components in Aldik Tablet . Consult the doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Aldik Tablet may not be recommended for use in children; please talk to the doctor if you have any concerns. Keep your doctor informed about your health condition and medications to rule out any side effects/interactions.

Disease/Condition Glossary

Pain: Pain is a symptom triggered by the nervous system, causing uncomfortable sensations in the body. Pain may be dull or sharp; it might be constant or may come and go. The tolerance level of pain might vary from person to person. Pain can be generalised (overall body aches) or localised (affecting a specific area of the body). The common causes of pain include headache, muscle strain, cramps, cuts, bone fractures, and arthritis.

Osteoarthritis: It is a joint disease in which the two ends of the joints come together due to the breakdown of a protective covering of cartilage.
