About Alcofast 500mg Tablet

Alcofast 500mg Tablet is used to treat alcoholic fatty liver disease and alcohol intoxication (disturbance in mental function or behaviour during or after alcohol consumption). Alcoholic fatty liver disease describes medical conditions and their corresponding symptoms which develop due to liver damage caused by alcohol misuse and abuse. When the disease arises, it may not lead to any symptoms in the early times until the individual’s liver has undergone widespread damage.

Alcofast 500mg Tablet contains Metadoxine, which is an antioxidant. Alcofast 500mg Tablet works by preventing the liver from harmful chemical substances. It enhances the elimination of alcohol from blood and tissues, which leads to faster recovery from alcohol intoxication, hence preventing liver damage.

Take Alcofast 500mg Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Alcofast 500mg Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical conditions.
