About Albuzest 20% Injection

Albuzest 20% Injection belongs to the class of medicines called plasma volume expander used to restore and maintain circulating blood volume in cases where it is low. It can occur as a result of significant trauma, bleeding, surgery, or kidney dialysis. It can also be used to address low levels of albumin in the blood.

Albuzest 20% Injection contains human albumin that works by replenishing blood and other bodily fluids that have been lost due to significant bleeding, surgery, or kidney dialysis.

In some cases, you may experience tenderness/pain at the injection site, flushing (temporary reddening of the skin), and fever.
