Agvert Tablet 10's

Agvert Tablet 10's is a combination of anti-histamine and anti-emetic drugs, primarily used to treat Meniere's disease (inner ear disorder), which can cause vertigo (a spinning sensation or dizziness), ringing in the ears, nausea (feeling sick), vomiting, and loss of hearing. Meniere's disease occurs when the inner ear is affected and causes episodes of vertigo (spinning). It also leads to hearing problems and a ringing sound in the ear.

Agvert Tablet 10's consists of 'Cinnarizine' (anti-histamine) and 'Domperidone' (anti-emetic). Cinnarizine is an anti-histamine drug that blocks the effects of histamine (a chemical substance produced in response to allergy) in the brain to reduce the symptoms of travel sickness. It is also a calcium channel blocker and improves blood circulation in the inner ear, thus reducing symptoms caused by vertigo, tinnitus (ringing in the ear), and Meniere's disease. Domperidone is an anti-emetic drug (that eases vomiting symptoms) and dopamine (chemical messenger) antagonist. It works by blocking the action of dopamine in the brain, which causes nausea and vomiting. It also increases the movements and contractions of stomach muscles. Domperidone is also a prokinetic agent that controls acid reflux. 

Your doctor will decide the dose and duration based on the severity of your disease. Common side effects of Agvert Tablet 10's include drowsiness, nausea, dry mouth, indigestion, and weight gain. These side effects are not familiar to everyone and vary individually. If you notice any side effects that are not manageable, please consult your doctor.

If you use other prescription or non-prescription medicines, inform your doctor before using Agvert Tablet 10's. Let your doctor know if you have any liver, kidney, or heart diseases, Parkinson's disease, blood disorders (porphyria), and allergic reactions before starting Agvert Tablet 10's. Let your doctor know in advance if you use any medicines that treat fungal/bacterial infections and AIDS/HIV. Agvert Tablet 10's can cause weight gain; hence it is advised to maintain a well-balanced, healthy lifestyle. Please consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or a breastfeeding mother if the doctor advised you Agvert Tablet 10's. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Agvert Tablet 10's as it could lead to increased dizziness and drowsiness. Agvert Tablet 10's may cause sleepiness, so drive only if you are alert. 

• Avoid chocolates, junk food, cheese, processed food, alcohol, and smoking. Instead, eat a healthy diet and do regular exercise to avoid weight gain caused due to Agvert Tablet 10's.
• You can try increasing your mindfulness by doing yoga, meditation, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, and stress reduction techniques.
• Drink enough water to stay hydrated and limit or avoid alcohol and caffeine.
• Include a diet rich in whole grains, vegetables, and fruits. This is a healthier option than eating a lot of simple carbohydrates found in processed foods.
• You can include antioxidants in your daily diet like ashwagandha, omega-3 fatty acids, green tea, and lemon balm.
• Try to spend time with your friends and family. Having a strong social network may help you lower your risk of anxiety.
• You can manage vertigo by avoiding dehydration, taking a low sodium diet, reducing alcohol intake, and managing stress. 
• Sitting down right away and rising slowly may help relieve vertigo. To improve your balance, you can also use a cane. 
• Your doctor may also suggest physiotherapy exercises to manage your posture and balance.
