About Adilip 45 Tablet

Adilip 45 Tablet belongs to the class of medicines called antilipemic agents primarily used to lower bad cholesterol and triglyceride levels. Also, it increases good cholesterol levels. High cholesterol, known as hyperlipidaemia or dyslipidaemia, occurs when there is an unhealthy balance of cholesterol in the blood. When the cholesterol level is high in the blood, your arteries get narrowed and clogged which contributes to heart diseases like stroke and heart attack.

Adilip 45 Tablet contains choline fenofibrate that works by stimulating the action of lipoprotein lipase (enzyme) which breaks down LDL (low-density lipoprotein) cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood. Also, it increases the levels of good cholesterol. Thus, Adilip 45 Tablet helps lower bad cholesterol and increase good cholesterol levels.

Take Adilip 45 Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Adilip 45 Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. Disease/Condition Glossary

Hyperlipidaemia: It is also known as high cholesterol or dyslipidaemia occurs when there is an excess of the unhealthy balance of cholesterol in the blood. When there is a high level of cholesterol in the blood, your arteries get narrowed and clogged which contributes to heart diseases like stroke and heart attack. Eating high-fat or high-cholesterol containing food/drinks and genetic factors are the primary causes of high cholesterol. There are two types of cholesterol found in our body, namely, good cholesterol (high-density lipoprotein) and bad cholesterol (low-density lipoprotein).
