Lorfast-AM Tablet is used to treat cough. It contains Ambroxol and Loratadine, which works by thinning and loosening phlegm (mucus) in the lungs, windpipe, and nose. Also, it blocks the action of histamine (chemical causing allergic symptoms) and reduces the allergic reaction. In some cases, it may cause side effects such as sleepiness, upset stomach, headache, or allergic reaction. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.
