Ozagrel Hydrochloride
About Ozagrel Hydrochloride
Ozagrel Hydrochloride belongs to a class of selective thromboxane A2 synthase inhibitors. It is usually used to improve cerebrovascular spasms and associated symptoms of cerebral ischemia after surgery for subarachnoid haemorrhage and movement disorder associated with cerebral thrombosis (acute phase).
Ozagrel Hydrochloride contains Ozagrel Hydrochloride. Ozagrel Hydrochloride inhibits thromboxane synthetase, thereby suppressing thromboxane A2 production, enhances prostacyclin production, corrects abnormalities in the balance of those two products, and decreases platelet aggregation.
Ozagrel Hydrochloride should be administered to patients only in a hospital setting by an experienced healthcare professional. Ozagrel Hydrochloride may cause certain common side effects, including injection site reactions, rash, erythema (reddening of the skin), asthma attacks, itching, falling blood pressure, anaemia, fever, headache, respiratory distress, cold feeling, the feeling of discomfort, loss of appetite, liver dysfunction, jaundice, fever, chills and decreased urine output, and subcutaneous bleeding. Most of these side effects usually go away on their own. If you develop any other serious side effects, such as vision problems while using Ozagrel Hydrochloride, consult your doctor immediately.
Before taking Ozagrel Hydrochloride, let your doctor know about all your medical conditions (especially if you have bleeding disorders), sensitivities (allergic reactions to any medicines or food), and all medications (over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines) you are using. Also, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding before receiving Ozagrel Hydrochloride.
