Description

Calcimax 500mg Tablet is indicated in osteopenia, osteoporosis, and for maintenance of good bone health. It treats low levels of calcium in people who do not get adequate calcium from their diet. It contains High potency Calcium with absorption enhancers, such as Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol), Magnesium, Lysine, and pro-bone minerals like Zinc, Selenium, Copper, and Boron. It supports bone health and prevents bone disorders. The calcium and magnesium combination helps in the mineralization of bone, fetal growth and development, decreases urinary calcium excretion, and prevents pregnancy complications like pre-eclampsia, premature delivery, and intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR).

Medicinal Benefits

  • Calcium is a mineral and prevents or treats calcium deficiency. It provides essential nutrients for bone formation and maintenance. It helps to maintain bone and tooth health.
  • Vitamin D3/Cholecalciferol maintains blood calcium and phosphorus levels and mineralization of bone. It is used to treat and prevent bone disorders, such as rickets and osteomalacia.
  • Magnesium helps increase bone mineral density and thus reduces the risk of bone fractures and osteoporosis.
  • Lysine is an amino acid that increases calcium absorption in the body and prevents bone loss associated with osteoporosis.
  • Zinc is a mineral that promotes normal skeletal growth and bone homeostasis.
  • Selenium improves bone mineral density, thus maintaining bone health and reducing the risk of fractures in older people. It decreases the activity of osteoclasts that break down bone and increases the activity of osteoblasts (cells that build bone).
