Topderm Plus Cream is used to treat fungal and bacterial infections of the skin. Also, it helps to reduce swelling, itching, and redness caused by certain skin problems. Fungal infection can affect our skin and cause infection, which may be contagious (spread from one person to another). Bacterial skin infections occur when bacteria enter the body through a scratch or cut in the skin. They often begin as small, red bumps that increase in size slowly.
Topderm Plus Cream consists of Clotrimazole (antifungal), Fluocinolone acetonide (corticosteroid), and Neomycin (antibacterial). Clotrimazole works by damaging the fungal cell membranes and killing fungi. Fluocinolone acetonide acts inside skin cells and inhibits the release of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause redness, itching, and swelling. Neomycin inhibits the production of essential proteins required for bacteria to grow, multiply and increase in numbers, thereby destroying the bacteria.
