Primiltus-30 mg Tablet 10's is used to treat Plaque psoriasis (scaly, itchy, and red patches on the skin), psoriasis arthritis (inflammation in the joints in people with psoriasis), and oral ulcers. Psoriasis is a chronic, painful, nontransmissible, deactivating and damaging disease. It can happen at any age and is most common in the age group 50 to 69. Psoriatic arthritis is a type of arthritis that some people with psoriasis experience.
Primiltus-30 mg Tablet 10's contains Apremilast, a phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4) inhibitor. Primiltus-30 mg Tablet 10's works by blocking the action of some chemical messengers that are responsible for inflammation related to psoriatic arthritis (inflammation in the joints in people with psoriasis) and psoriasis (scaly, itchy, and red patches on the skin) and, thus, lower the signs and symptoms of these conditions.
Take Primiltus-30 mg Tablet 10's as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Primiltus-30 mg Tablet 10's for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical conditions. You may experience diarrhoea, vomiting, nausea, weight loss, and back pain. Most of these side effects of Primiltus-30 mg Tablet 10's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.
Primiltus-30 mg Tablet 10's should not be taken in conditions like depression as it is getting worse with thoughts of suicide. Before starting Primiltus-30 mg Tablet 10's, please inform your doctor if you have any allergy to Primiltus-30 mg Tablet 10's and its parts. Primiltus-30 mg Tablet 10's not recommended for use in children and adolescents aged below 17 years. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, ask your doctor for advice before taking this Primiltus-30 mg Tablet 10's. Primiltus-30 mg Tablet 10's does not affect the ability to drive and use machines.
Primiltus-30 mg Tablet 10's is used in treating psoriatic arthritis; it decreases pain and swelling and may help improve flexibility in the affected joints. It is also used to treat moderate to severe plaque psoriasis (skin disease causes red, scaly patches to form on some areas of the body) in people who may benefit from medications). It is used to treat ulcers in the mouth in persons with Behcet's syndrome (a disease that results from blood vessel swelling in the body). Primiltus-30 mg Tablet 10's works by blocking the action of some chemical messengers responsible for inflammation related to psoriatic arthritis and psoriasis, thus lowering the signs and symptoms of these conditions.
Inform your doctor before using Primiltus-30 mg Tablet 10's, if you have previously had an allergic reaction (hypersensitivity). Before starting Primiltus-30 mg Tablet 10's, please inform your doctor if you have depression and suicidal thoughts. Inform your doctor before taking Primiltus-30 mg Tablet 10's if you have severe kidney problems. Inform your doctor while taking Primiltus-30 mg Tablet 10's if you lose weight without meaning to. Primiltus-30 mg Tablet 10's should not be taken in conditions like severe diarrhoea, nausea, and vomiting. Primiltus-30 mg Tablet 10's not recommended for use in children and adolescents aged below 17 years. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, ask your doctor for advice before taking this Primiltus-30 mg Tablet 10's. Patients with rare hereditary galactose intolerance problems, total lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take Primiltus-30 mg Tablet 10's.
Drug-Drug Interactions: Primiltus-30 mg Tablet 10's may interact with medicines used for tuberculosis- TB (rifampicin), and medicines used in fit/epilepsy (phenytoin, phenobarbital, carbamazepine).

Drug-Disease Interactions: Primiltus-30 mg Tablet 10's should not be given to patients with depression, kidney disease, and weight loss.
