About Isolazine Tablet

Isolazine Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called vasodilators used to treat heart failure. Heart failure occurs when the heart muscle does not pump blood normally, including shortness of breath, swollen legs, fatigue and increased heartbeat. In this condition, the heart becomes too weak and cannot pump enough blood and oxygen to the organs and tissues of the body. 

Isolazine Tablet contains Isosorbide dinitrate and Hydralazine. Isosorbide dinitrate relaxes the heart's muscles and widens the heart's veins and arteries for easy flow of blood to every part of the body. Hydralazine helps lower raised blood pressure by relaxing and widening the heart's muscles. Together, Isolazine Tablet helps treat heart failure.

Take Isolazine Tablet as your doctor has prescribed it. In some cases, Isolazine Tablet can cause side effects like headache, nausea, dizziness, and lightheadedness (feeling faint). Most of these side effects of Isolazine Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if these side effects persist longer, please consult your doctor.

If you are known to be allergic to Isolazine Tablet or any other medicines, please inform your doctor. Before taking Isolazine Tablet , let your doctor know if you have had a heart attack within the last 30 days, low blood pressure, stroke (inadequate blood supply in the brain that causes damage to the brain), or high pressure within the brain. Drug Warnings

Do not take Isolazine Tablet if you have low blood pressure because even a low dose of Isolazine Tablet may produce low blood pressure. If you are pregnant or planning any pregnancy, let your doctor know about this before taking Isolazine Tablet as it crosses the placenta and can affect the unborn baby (fetus). Do not drive by using this Isolazine Tablet because it produces dizziness that may cause an accident. You may experience tingling or numbness, so your doctor may prescribe a vitamin B6 supplement (pyridoxine). Hydralazine passes into breast milk, so its use in lactating mothers should be avoided.
