Treatment of Bone health, fracture healing, tendon healing, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis

Medicinal Benefits

Calinta Frac Tablet is a vitamin and mineral supplement used to treat various pathological conditions that affect the skeletal system and bones. Calinta Frac Tablet contains Elemental Calcium, Cissus quadrangularis and Menaquinone. Calinta Frac Tablet helps in improving bone health, joint mobility and movement in general. In addition, Calinta Frac Tablet promotes normal functioning and strength of bone cells. Elemental calcium helps by restoring normal calcium levels in the body, required for optimal functioning of bones and joints as calcium is an essential mineral component of the bones. Cissus quadrangularis shows an anti-osteoporotic effect. It stimulates the stem bone cells to proliferate and form new bone cells, thereby improving bone density and enhancing fracture healing. Cissus quadrangularis is also an anti-inflammatory that relieves the symptoms of inflammation such as pain, soreness, stiffness and swelling. Menaquinone, which is a form of Vitamin K, can increase bone density and reduce the incidence of fractures. Hence, Calinta Frac Tablet finds use in bone diseases such as osteoporosis and osteoarthritis and in improving the overall quality of the bone.

Disease/Condition Glossary

Osteoarthritis: Osteoarthritis is the most common type of arthritis. It occurs due to the breakdown of cartilage that cushions and protects the bones. The disease progresses gradually and tends to worsen if not treated. Symptoms include joint pain in the hips, lower back, knees and hands. It is commonly seen in post-menopausal women.

Osteoporosis: Osteoporosis is a state in which the bones become weak and brittle. It is often brought about by disease and age (menopausal osteoporosis). In osteoporosis, the activity of bone-destroying cells surpasses the activity of bone-forming cells. Most people do not suffer from any symptoms until there's a fracture and bones literally start to break.

Rheumatoid arthritis: It is an autoimmune disorder that causes the immune system to attack healthy cells leading to inflammation of the joints.
