Drug-Drug Interaction: Rupatadine have interactions with other antihistamines (diphenhydramine), Benzodiazepines(midazolam), antibiotics (erythromycin), Anti-fungal (itraconazole, ketoconazole, fluconazole, voriconazole, posaconazole), HIV protease inhibitors(indinavir, ritonavir), anti-depressant (nefazodone), calcium channel blocker (diltiazem) and statins(atorvastatin) and immunosuppressive drugs ( ciclosporin, tacrolimus, sirolimus, everolimus, cisapride) should be used with caution.
Drug-Food Interaction: Alcohol and grapefruit juice should not be used along with Rupatadine.
Drug-Disease Interaction: Rupatadine is contraindicated in kidney diseases, hepatic diseases, heart diseases, galactose intolerance, and glucose-galactose malabsorption.
