About Dalbavancin
Dalbavancin is an antibiotic used to treat skin and skin structure infections. A bacterial infection occurs when harmful bacteria enter the body, multiply and cause infection.
Dalbavancin contains Dalbavancin, which belongs to the cyclic lipoglycopeptide class of antibiotics. It works by inhibiting the process of bacterial cell wall synthesis that is required for its survival.
Dalbavancin may cause certain common side effects such as injection site reactions, rash, vomiting, allergic reaction, dizziness, headache, flushing, nausea, and diarrhoea. If these side effects persist, contact your doctor immediately. A qualified healthcare doctor will administer the medicine to you. Hence, do not self-administer.
Dalbavancin should be avoided if you are allergic to it or other antibiotics. Caution should be exercised, and inform your doctor if you have any history of liver/kidney disease, heart problems, or any other medical conditions. Drug Warnings

Drug-Drug Interactions: Dalbavancin may interact with CYP450 substrates (amlodipine, alprazolam, clopidogrel, warfarin), CYP450 inhibitors (amitriptyline, haloperidol, clarithromycin, ketoconazole).
