Tizanidine+aceclofenac+paracetamol
About Tizanidine+aceclofenac+paracetamol
Aceclofenac+paracetamol+tizanidine belongs to the class of medications called 'non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID)' used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, muscle pain, tooth pain, bone, joint pain, headache, and period pain. Pain is a symptom triggered by the nervous system, causing uncomfortable sensations in the body. Muscle spasm is the sudden involuntary contractions of the muscle, which can be painful and uncomfortable.
Aceclofenac+paracetamol+tizanidine contains Tizanidine (muscle relaxant), Aceclofenac (pain killer), and Paracetamol (mild analgesic and fever reducer). Tizanidine works on the brain's centres, thereby helping to relieve muscle stiffness and improve muscle movements. Aceclofenac and Paracetamol work by blocking chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation at the injured or damaged site. Together, Aceclofenac+paracetamol+tizanidine helps in relieving pain due to muscle spasms.
You are advised to take Aceclofenac+paracetamol+tizanidine for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical condition. Uses of Tizanidine+aceclofenac+paracetamol
Medicinal Benefits
Aceclofenac+paracetamol+tizanidine is a combination of three drugs, namely: Tizanidine, Aceclofenac, and Paracetamol. Aceclofenac+paracetamol+tizanidine is used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, muscle pain, tooth pain, bone and joint pain, headache, and period pain. Tizanidine is a muscle relaxant which works on the centres of the spinal cord and brain. This helps relieve muscle stiffness and improves muscle movements. Aceclofenac and Paracetamol are analgesics which work by blocking the effect of a chemical messenger known as cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes that make other chemical prostaglandins. Prostaglandins are produced at injury sites and cause pain and swelling. By blocking the COX enzymes' effect, lesser prostaglandins are produced, which reduces mild to moderate pain and inflammation at the injured or damaged site. Together, Aceclofenac+paracetamol+tizanidine helps in relieving pain and fever due to muscle spasms.
