X-Heme 12 mg Fe 2+ Tablet belongs to a class of medications called 'haematinics' used to treat anaemia (lack of blood) due to iron deficiency and chronic kidney disease. Anaemia is a condition in which the body does not have enough red blood cells to carry the adequate oxygen required to various body tissues.

X-Heme 12 mg Fe 2+ Tablet contains Ferrous ascorbate, which is a combination of iron and vitamin C. Iron works by replenishing iron stores, and vitamin C enhances iron absorption in the body. Thus, X-Heme 12 mg Fe 2+ Tablet helps to treat iron deficiency.

Take X-Heme 12 mg Fe 2+ Tablet as advised by your doctor. In some cases, you may experience vomiting, nausea, diarrhoea or dark-coloured stool. • Drink plenty of fluids to keep yourself hydrated.

• Avoid consumption of alcohol.
