Renogard Tablet is used in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy (diabetic kidney disease). Diabetic nephropathy is kidney damage resulting from diabetes. It is a major cause of kidney failure.
Renogard Tablet contains Taurine and Acetylcysteine, which belong to the antioxidant class. This medication functions by shielding the kidneys from damage caused by dangerous substances (free radicals), hence assisting in the reduction of free radical generation that damages tissue.
Renogard Tablet may cause certain side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, drowsiness, fever, abdominal pain, and rash. If these side effects persist, consult your doctor immediately. Take Renogard Tablet as prescribed by your doctor.
Do not take Renogard Tablet if you are allergic to any of its components. Before taking Renogard Tablet , inform your doctor if you have any history of asthma, liver or kidney diseases, or any allergic reactions. Also, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking Renogard Tablet .
