Nefroneed Tablet 10's

Nefroneed Tablet 1 is used in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy (diabetic kidney disease). Diabetic nephropathy is kidney damage resulting from diabetes. It is a major cause of kidney failure. 

Nefroneed Tablet 1 contains Taurine and Acetylcysteine, which belong to the antioxidant class. This medication functions by shielding the kidneys from damage caused by dangerous substances (free radicals), hence assisting in the reduction of free radical generation that damages tissue. 

Nefroneed Tablet 1 may cause certain side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, drowsiness, fever, abdominal pain, and rash. If these side effects persist, consult your doctor immediately. Take Nefroneed Tablet 1 as prescribed by your doctor.

Do not take Nefroneed Tablet 1 if you are allergic to any of its components. Before taking Nefroneed Tablet 1, inform your doctor if you have any history of asthma, liver or kidney diseases, or any allergic reactions. Also, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking Nefroneed Tablet 1.

Nefroneed Tablet 1 is a combination medicine consisting of taurine and acetylcysteine. Taurine is an antioxidant that helps individuals with diabetic kidney disease keep their blood glucose levels and prevent additional tissue damage. Another antioxidant that can lessen the generation of free radicals that harm tissue is acetylcysteine. It has anti-inflammatory qualities as well. When used in tandem, Nefroneed Tablet 1 can successfully cure diabetic nephropathy and delay its progression.

Do not take Nefroneed Tablet 1 if you are allergic to any of its components. Before taking Nefroneed Tablet 1, inform your doctor if you have any history of asthma, liver, or kidney diseases, or any allergic reactions. Also, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking Nefroneed Tablet 1. Nefroneed Tablet 1 increases the risk of Steven-Johnson syndrome and Lyell syndrome, characterized by severe skin rashes. So, stop taking this medication and consult your doctor immediately if you notice skin rashes. Nefroneed Tablet 1 is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age.

Drug-drug interactions: Nefroneed Tablet 1 may interact with medications used to treat cough, a medicine used to treat poisonings (activated charcoal), aminoglycoside antibiotics (gentamicin, streptomycin, tobramycin, and amikacin, etc.), other antibiotics (penicillin and tetracycline), and a medication used to treat angina (glyceryl trinitrate).  

Drug-food interactions: No interactions found.

Drug-disease interactions: Nefroneed Tablet 1 should be used with caution in patients with asthma, stomach ulcers, liver disease, kidney disease, and allergic to histamines.

• Eat at regular intervals. Do not take the long gap between a meal or snack.
• Lose weight gradually to achieve a healthy body mass index (18.5 to 24.9).
• Replace refined carbohydrates containing whole-grain foods and increase intake of fruits and other fibre-enriched foods.
• Monitor your blood sugar level and blood pressure regularly, especially when there are a lot of fluctuations.

Diabetic nephropathy: Diabetes-related kidney damage progresses over time in a condition known as diabetic nephropathy. An elevated blood sugar level leads to excessive blood filtering by the kidneys. Nephropathy can result from the kidneys' inability to filter substances due to ongoing overwork. Some of the symptoms are face, hands, and foot swelling, trouble sleeping, nausea, appetite loss, itchy or dry skin, fatigue, and weakness.
