Catchnil Tablet is used in arthritis (inflammation of the joints) and osteoporosis to maintain bone and joint health. Osteoporosis is a bone disease that makes the bones weak and brittle by decreasing bone density. Symptoms include backache, easily breaking bones, and hunched or stooped posture.

Catchnil Tablet is a combination of Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3), Elemental Magnesium, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), and Zinc. Cholecalciferol helps maintain blood calcium and phosphorus levels and mineralisation of bone. It is used to treat and prevent bone disorders, such as rickets and osteomalacia. Magnesium is a mineral that maintains the normal functioning of muscles and nerves. Tocopherol is an antioxidant that protects the cells from free radical damage. It helps prevent Vitamin E deficiency and improves immune function. Zinc is a mineral that promotes the growth and development of body tissues. 

Your doctor will decide the dosage based on your medical condition. Catchnil Tablet is likely safe to consume. In some cases, it may cause side effects like stomach upset, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, weakness, and headache. These side effects are not common to everyone and usually do not require medical attention. However, if these side effects persist longer, please consult your doctor.

• Follow a well-balanced diet.

• Include dairy products like milk, yoghurt, cheese or milk-based custard in your diet.

• Eat daily a serving of broccoli, cabbage, bok choy, spinach and other green leafy vegetables.

• Include zinc-rich sources like meat, shellfish, legumes, hemp seeds, nuts, eggs, dairy products, whole grains, potatoes, kale, and dark chocolate in your diet.

• Include the best dietary sources of vitamin D, such as fish liver oils and vitamin D–fortified milk.

• Vitamin C foods like orange juice, broccoli, strawberries, melons, and bell peppers enhance iron absorption into the body.
