Cadress 500mg 0.9%W/W Ointment belongs to the class of topical antibiotics. It is used to treat chronic exuding wounds such as leg ulcers, diabetic ulcers, and pressure ulcers, as well as infected traumatic and surgical wounds.

Cadress 500mg 0.9%W/W Ointment contains Cadexomer iodine. It has a dual action: cleansing of the wound and bactericidal activity. Cadexomer iodine decreases bacterial count, promotes de-sloughing, absorbs exudates, and keeps the skin moist to aid in the healing of chronic skin ulcers.

Use as directed by the healthcare professional. Sometimes, Cadress 500mg 0.9%W/W Ointment may cause application site reactions such as pain, swelling, redness and irritation. The side effects of Cadress 500mg 0.9%W/W Ointment do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

Do not use Cadress 500mg 0.9%W/W Ointment if you are allergic to any of its components. • Reduce your intake of sugar, yeast, refined carbohydrates, and mouldy foods.
• Maintain personal hygiene and keep your surroundings clean.
