Dapagliflozin is a sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 inhibitor which removes excess sugar from the body via urine. Together, Zita-D Tablet helps treat type-2 diabetes mellitus.
Do not take Zita-D Tablet if you are allergic to its components. Inform the doctor if you have kidney or liver problems, type 1 diabetes, ketoacidosis, low blood sugar, adrenal insufficiency, intestinal obstruction, or heart problems. Consult the doctor if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. Zita-D Tablet is not recommended for children as the safety and effectiveness have not been established.
