About Tekpar Gel

Tekpar Gel is a combination medicine used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal disorders, arthritis, and low back pain. Musculoskeletal pain could occur due to arthritis, osteoporosis, fractures, dislocations, problems with the bone structure or injury to the bones, joints, tendons, muscles, and ligaments.

Tekpar Gel contains Diclofenac sodium, Methyl salicylate, Linseed oil, Menthol, and Benzyl alcohol. Diclofenac sodium and Methyl salicylate work by blocking the effect of chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation. Linseed oil helps in reducing inflammation. Menthol provides a cooling sensation by dilating the blood vessels, followed by an analgesic effect. Benzyl alcohol has a mild anaesthetic property. Thus, Tekpar Gel helps in providing relief from pain.

In some cases, you may experience side effects such as application site reactions like itching, irritation, redness, and burning sensation. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Do not use Tekpar Gel if you are allergic to any of its components. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Tekpar Gel is for external use only. Avoid contact of Tekpar Gel with eyes, nose or mouth. If accidental contact occurs, rinse with water thoroughly.
