About MOTIZA 50MG TABLET

MOTIZA 50MG TABLET is used to treat the disorders associated with reduced gastrointestinal motility. Besides this, MOTIZA 50MG TABLET also treats gastrointestinal disorders like dyspepsia (indigestion), bloating (feeling of stomach tightness due to gas), upper abdominal pain, anorexia (eating disorder), heartburn, nausea and vomiting. In normal digestion conditions, the food is moved through the entire digestive tract (food pipe, stomach, small intestine, and large intestine) by a rhythmic contraction, i.e., peristalsis movement. This regular movement of the digestive tract is called 'gastric motility.' When an individual suffers from a digestive motility problem, these digestive tract contractions do not work correctly, leading to various gastrointestinal issues.

MOTIZA 50MG TABLET contains 'Itopride Hydrochloride', which increases the level of acetylcholine concentration and Gastrointestinal peristalsis movement, thereby accelerating gastric emptying time and easing the movement of food through the entire gastrointestinal tract. MOTIZA 50MG TABLET also stops the sensation of vomiting/nausea by blocking the D2 receptors located in the chemoreceptor trigger zone (CTZ) of the brain, which is responsible for inducing vomiting.

Your doctor will advise you on how often you take your pills based on your medical condition. You may sometimes experience diarrhoea, stomach pain, headache, tremor (involuntary movement) and drowsiness. Most of these side effects of MOTIZA 50MG TABLET do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are known to be allergic to MOTIZA 50MG TABLET or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. MOTIZA 50MG TABLET is not recommended for children below 16 years of age. MOTIZA 50MG TABLET is used for the treatment of Heartburn, Nausea, Vomiting, and Bloating. The detailed uses of MOTIZA 50MG TABLET are as follows:
•Treatment of Functional Dyspepsia: MOTIZA 50MG TABLET is frequently used to alleviate functional dyspepsia symptoms such as pain, bloating, and nausea.
•Management of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease: MOTIZA 50MG TABLET aids in the treatment of GERD, such as heartburn and acid ingestion, by increasing stomach motility and decreasing the frequency of reflux events.
•Relief from Nausea and Vomiting: MOTIZA 50MG TABLET significantly reduces nausea and vomiting caused by gastroenteritis and chemotherapy, thereby regulating digestive function.
•Postoperative Gastric Motility Disorders: MOTIZA 50MG TABLET can also be used to treat patients who have delayed gastric emptying following surgery.
•Gastroparesis Management: MOTIZA 50MG TABLET can be prescribed to treat gastroparesis by improving gastric motility in patients with weak stomach muscles.
