About Fere O Drops
Fere O Drops is primarily used to treat anaemia (low blood count) or iron deficiency in children. It supports overall development, growth, and health in children.
Fere O Drops is a combination of two drugs, namely: Ferrous calcium citrate (iron supplement) and folic acid (vitamin B9). Fere O Drops works by increasing red blood cells (RBC) and haemoglobin (a protein) production in the body. As a result, an adequate number of RBCs are produced in the body so that the body's tissue gets a sufficient supply of oxygen.
In some cases, your child may experience vomiting, nausea, constipation, diarrhoea, a change in the colour of the stool, or temporary staining of teeth. Most of the side effects of Fere O Drops do not require medical attention and resolve gradually over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
If your child is allergic to Fere O Drops or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Fere O Drops should be used in children only at the doses advised by a doctor.
