Evalon Forte 2 mg Tablet is used for hormone replacement therapy in menopausal women. It helps relieve menopausal symptoms like vaginal dryness, itching, and irritation occurring due to a shortage of estrogen in the body.  

Evalon Forte 2 mg Tablet contains ‘estriol’, which works by replacing the hormone, thereby helping relieve menopausal symptoms like vaginal dryness, itching, and irritation.

Evalon Forte 2 mg Tablet should be taken as advised by your doctor. The dose and duration of this medicine will be decided by the doctor based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain side effects such as headache, nausea, flu-like symptoms, breast discomfort and pain. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Directions for Use

Swallow the medicine as a whole with water; do not crush or chew it. It should be taken as advised by your doctor.

Drug Warnings

Do not take Evalon Forte 2 mg Tablet if you are allergic to it or if you have breast/womb/ovary cancer, unexplained/unusual vaginal bleeding, womb problems (thickening of the womb lining), blood clot disorders, recent stroke, liver disease, or porphyria (an inherited disorder that causes nerve or skin problems). Inform your doctor if you have endometriosis (abnormal growth of tissues outside the womb), womb tumours, high blood pressure, diabetes, gall bladder disease, migraine, epilepsy/fits/seizures, asthma, systemic lupus erythematosus (an autoimmune disease that causes inflammation), otosclerosis (hearing disorder due to growth of bone in the inner ear), or heart/kidney/liver problems. Let your doctor know if you are taking any prescription/non-prescription medicines or herbal/vitamin supplements.
