About Emolac-250 Capsule

Emolac-250 Capsule is used to treat and prevent diarrhoea, including rotaviral diarrhoea in children. Emolac-250 Capsule may also be used for acne, antibiotic-associated diarrhoea, Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhoea, Helicobacter pylori infection, traveller’s diarrhoea, diarrhoea in people with HIV/AIDS, and necrotising enterocolitis (a serious intestinal disease in premature infants).

Emolac-250 Capsule contains ‘Saccharomyces boulardii’, a friendly micro-organism that helps fight disease-causing organisms in the gut, such as yeast and bacteria. Thereby, Emolac-250 Capsule helps in treating diarrhoea. Emolac-250 Capsule helps restore the balance of intestinal bacterial flora and strengthens immunity and overall gut health.

You are advised to take Emolac-250 Capsule for as long as your doctor has recommended it for you, depending on your medical condition. Emolac-250 Capsule is generally safe and does not cause any side effects. Sometimes, it may cause gas, bloating, and constipation. Do not crush, break or chew it.Orodispersible sticks: These should be administered orally, directly or mixed with water.
