Econorm Sachet 7 is used to treat and prevent diarrhoea, including rotaviral diarrhoea in children. Econorm Sachet 7 may also be used for acne, antibiotic-associated diarrhoea, Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhoea, Helicobacter pylori infection, traveller’s diarrhoea, diarrhoea in people with HIV/AIDS, and necrotising enterocolitis (a serious intestinal disease in premature infants).
 
Econorm Sachet 7 contains ‘Saccharomyces boulardii’, a friendly micro-organism that helps fight disease-causing organisms in the gut, such as yeast and bacteria. Thereby, Econorm Sachet 7 helps in treating diarrhoea. Econorm Sachet 7 helps restore the balance of intestinal bacterial flora and strengthens immunity and overall gut health.
 
You are advised to take Econorm Sachet 7 for as long as your doctor has recommended it for you, depending on your medical condition. Econorm Sachet 7 is generally safe and does not cause any side effects. Sometimes, it may cause gas, bloating, and constipation. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. Talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

• Eat fibre-rich food such as whole grains, lentils, beans, broccoli, and peas.
• Wash your hands thoroughly before eating while preparing or serving food.
