Dolokind Spas Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called anti-spasmodic agents used to relieve abdominal pain/cramps. Abdominal pain occurs between the chest and pelvic region, generally known as stomach or tummy pain. The common causes of abdominal pain include inflammation, infections, intestinal disorders and obstruction/blockage.

Dolokind Spas Tablet contains Hyoscine butylbromide and paracetamol. Hyoscine butylbromide works by relaxing the muscles of the stomach and intestine. Paracetamol is a pain reliever (analgesic) that prevents the release of chemical messengers that result in pain. Together, Dolokind Spas Tablet relieves abdominal cramps.

You are advised to take Dolokind Spas Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical conditions. In some cases, Dolokind Spas Tablet may cause dry mouth, constipation, blurred vision, and a slow heart rate. Most of these side effects of Dolokind Spas Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

Do not take Dolokind Spas Tablet if you are allergic to any of its components. Before taking Dolokind Spas Tablet , inform your doctor if you have a fast/slow heart rate or any other type of heart disease. It is advisable not to take Dolokind Spas Tablet if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. Dolokind Spas Tablet may cause vision problems. Therefore, drive or operate heavy machinery only if you have clear vision.

Drug-Drug Interactions: Dolokind Spas Tablet may interact with medicines to control heartbeat (quinidine, disopyramide), medicines for severe mental illness (haloperidol, fluphenazine), medicines used for breathing problems (tiotropium, ipratropium, atropine), medicines for nausea (metoclopramide), medicines for depression (doxepin).

Drug-Disease Interactions: Inform your doctor if you have severe liver and kidney failure, narrow-angle glaucoma (increased pressure inside the eye), enlarged prostate gland, inflammatory conditions of the gastrointestinal system (gut), blockage in the small intestine (pyloric stenosis), or rapid heart rate.

• Avoid foods such as high-fat food, spicy food, chocolates, citrus fruits, pineapple, tomato, onion, garlic, tea, and soda. 
• Avoid deep-fried and spicy foods.
• Foods containing probiotics may help in providing relief from gas and bloating.

• Your doctor may recommend regular eye check-ups, as Dolokind Spas Tablet may worsen the symptoms of glaucoma.
