About Dolocold Tablet
Dolocold Tablet is primarily used to treat the common cold and allergy symptoms like sneezing, watery eyes, or an itchy/watery nose and throat. The common cold is a respiratory illness affecting the nose and throat, mostly caused by rhinovirus. The virus spreads quickly through droplets in the air when a sick person sneezes, coughs, or talks.
Dolocold Tablet contains Paracetamol, Phenylephrine hydrochloride, Chlorpheniramine maleate, and Caffeine. Paracetamol inhibits the production of certain chemical messengers in the brain known as prostaglandins, which are responsible for pain and fever. Phenylephrine hydrochloride helps shrink the blood vessels in the nasal passage, thereby reducing the stuffy nose. Chlorpheniramine maleate blocks the action of histamine, a substance responsible for causing allergic reactions. Caffeine acts as a stimulant and increases alertness.
Dolocold Tablet can be taken with or without food or as directed by the physician. Your doctor will recommend how often you need to take Dolocold Tablet based on your medical condition. In some cases, Dolocold Tablet may cause common side effects such as drowsiness, sleepiness, nausea, fatigue, difficulty sleeping, and headache. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually. However, consult your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.
Do not consume Dolocold Tablet if you are allergic or hypersensitive to any of the components. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning for pregnancy, or breastfeeding. Inform your doctor if you have hypertension (high blood pressure), liver or kidney disease, or coronary artery disease (heart disease). Dolocold Tablet may cause sleepiness, so do not drive or operate heavy machinery unless you are alert. Consumption of alcohol should be avoided as it may lead to excessive sleepiness.

Dolocold Tablet contains caffeine. So, avoid taking medicines or food containing caffeine, such as cold drinks, coffee, chocolate, and tea. Also, avoid consuming alcohol while taking Dolocold Tablet , as it might increase drowsiness.
