About Biospan Tablet

Biospan Tablet is used to relieve abdominal and irritable bowel syndrome pain, cramps, and discomfort. It may also be used for diagnostic and therapeutic medical procedures where spasms might be a problem, such as gastroduodenal endoscopy, and to produce smooth muscle relaxation prior to radiological procedures like pyelography.

Take Biospan Tablet as prescribed. In some cases, Biospan Tablet may cause side effects such as dry mouth, constipation, blurred vision, abnormal/reduced sweating, and fast heart rate. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Do not take Biospan Tablet if you are pregnant, likely to get pregnant, or breastfeeding. Biospan Tablet may cause blurred vision, so drive only if you are alert. Constipation might be a side-effect of Biospan Tablet . Drink enough fluids and eat fibre-rich food if you experience constipation. Talk to your doctor if the condition persists or worsens.
Consult your doctor before taking Biospan Tablet if you have tachycardia as Biospan Tablet might increase the heart rate further, which could lead to unpleasant complications. Regular monitoring of heart rate while taking Biospan Tablet is advised.
