Vivid-Plus Tablet 10's

Vivid-Plus Tablet 10's belongs to the class of nutritional supplements used to prevent or treat low blood calcium levels in people who cannot get sufficient calcium from their diets. Vivid-Plus Tablet 10's effectively treats various conditions caused by low calcium levels in the body, such as osteoporosis (weak and brittle bones), osteomalacia/rickets (weak bones) and hypoparathyroidism (low levels of parathyroid hormone), and latent tetany (a muscle disease with low blood calcium levels).

Vivid-Plus Tablet 10's contains Calcium citrate, calcium aspartate, calcium orotate, and vitamin D3. Calcium supplements are used to prevent or treat a calcium deficiency. They provide essential nutrients to maintain bone formation. Vitamin D3 helps the body to absorb calcium.  Thereby, it increases calcium levels in the blood and helps to build and maintain strong bones.

Take Vivid-Plus Tablet 10's as advised by your doctor. In some cases, you may experience nausea, headache, vomiting, constipation or dry mouth. The side effects of Vivid-Plus Tablet 10's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor. 

If you are allergic to Vivid-Plus Tablet 10's, vitamin D products or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Vivid-Plus Tablet 10's contains Calcium citrate, calcium aspartate, calcium orotate and vitamin D3. Calcium citrate is used to prevent or treat a calcium deficiency by maintaining calcium levels in the blood. Calcium aspartate promotes strong bones and teeth. It delays the decaying of bones associated with osteoporosis and fibromyalgia (widespread muscle pain and tenderness). Drug-Drug Interaction: Vivid-Plus Tablet 10's may have interaction with antibiotics (doxycycline, minocycline, ciprofloxacin, levofloxacin), drugs used to treat bone loss (alendronate), anti-cancer drug (estramustine), thyroid drugs (levothyroxine), high cholesterol-lowering medicines (cholestyramine, colestipol), weight-loss drugs (orlistat).

Drug-Disease Interaction: If you have kidney stones, high levels of calcium or vitamin D in the blood, malabsorption syndrome, sarcoidosis (growth of tiny collections of inflammatory cells in any part of the body), Crohn's disease, Whipple's disease (a bacterial infection that most often affects joints and digestive system), achlorhydria (absence of stomach acid), liver, kidney or heart problems, inform your doctor before taking Vivid-Plus Tablet 10's.

• Include dairy products like milk, yoghurt, cheese, or milk-based custard in your diet.
• Eat daily a serving of broccoli, cabbage, bok choy (Chinese white cabbage), spinach, and other green leafy vegetables.
• Snack on calcium-rich nuts like Brazil nuts or almonds.
• Sprinkle sesame seeds over your food, vegetables, and salads. Sesame seeds are high in calcium.
• Avoid or reduce the intake of caffeine, soft drinks, and alcohol that inhibit calcium absorption.
• Replace the meat with tofu or tempeh for extra calcium in your food.

Osteoporosis: It is a bone disease that weakens and brittle bones by decreasing bone density. As the density of bones decreases, they weaken and are more likely to break. Breaking a bone is a severe complication of osteoporosis, especially in older patients. Women are much more likely to develop osteoporosis than men. Signs and symptoms include back pain caused by a fractured or collapsed vertebra, loss of height over time, a stooped posture, a bone that breaks much more easily than expected.

Osteomalacia/Rickets: Rickets is a bone disease caused by softening and weakening bones in children due to inadequate vitamin D. Adults can experience a similar condition known as osteomalacia. It causes bone pain, poor growth, and soft, weak bones that can lead to bone deformities.

Hypoparathyroidism: It is a disease characterized by low levels of parathyroid hormone. This can cause low calcium levels and trigger tetany.

Tetany: A disease condition due to low levels of calcium (hypocalcemia) in the body which causes cramps and spasms in the hands, feet, and larynx (voice box).
