About Vitanum Capsule

Vitanum Capsule belongs to the class of 'nutritional supplements', primarily used to treat nutritional deficiencies. It effectively treats various conditions caused by a lack of vitamins, such as vitamin B1, B6, and B12 deficiencies, diabetic neuropathy (nerve damage due to diabetes), and peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage in the hands and feet). Nutritional deficiency occurs when the body is unable to absorb or get enough nutrients from food.

Vitanum Capsule contains Alpha-lipoic acid, Benfotiamine, Inositol, Folic acid, Pyridoxine hydrochloride, and Methylcobalamin. Alpha-lipoic acid prevents cell damage and restores vitamin levels in the body. Benfotiamine helps deliver essential nutrients to the nerves. Inositol works by dilating the blood vessels and improving blood circulation. Folic acid helps form red blood cells and prevents DNA changes that may lead to cancer. Pyridoxine hydrochloride is involved in protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism and the formation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters. Methylcobalamin regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis.

Your doctor will decide the duration based on your medical condition. Sometimes, Vitanum Capsule may cause common side effects like nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, stomach upset, dizziness, and rash. These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, consult your doctor.

Let your doctor know if you use any other medicines before starting Vitanum Capsule . Please tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of the components of Vitanum Capsule . Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to conceive, or breastfeeding. Vitanum Capsule may cause dizziness; hence, drive with caution. Avoiding alcohol is recommended to rule out any possibility of side effects like dizziness. Vitanum Capsule is not recommended in children below 12 years of age.

Medicinal Benefits

Vitanum Capsule is used to treat nutritional deficiencies. It contains Alpha-lipoic acid, Benfotiamine, Folic acid, Inositol, Pyridoxine hydrochloride, and Methylcobalamin. Benfotiamine, a synthetic form of Vitamin B1 or Thiamine, helps deliver essential nutrients to the nerves. It improves mental health symptoms in people addicted to alcoholism and pain caused by diabetic neuropathy. Folic acid helps form red blood cells and prevents DNA changes that may lead to cancer. Inositol works by dilating the blood vessels and improving blood circulation to the legs, toes, and fingers, thereby relieving pain. Pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6) is involved in protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism and the creation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters. Vitanum Capsule is a vitamin supplement and consists of Alpha-lipoic acid, Benfotiamine, Inositol, Pyridoxine hydrochloride, Folic acid, and Methylcobalamin. When you lack these vitamins in your body, which cannot be recovered even with the food sources, Vitanum Capsule helps normalize these deficient levels. If your Vitamin B6 levels are still low, your doctor may suggest its supplements.
Vitamin B1 deficiency is caused when your body does not have adequate levels of Vitamin B1 or Thiamine. This deficiency is commonly found in alcoholics, people with poor diet, and malabsorption conditions. It is also common in children with congenital heart diseases. People who undergo dialysis treatment may also develop vitamin B1 deficiency.
Pyridoxine in Vitanum Capsule may interfere with laboratory tests like urine tests for urobilinogen. Please make sure your doctor and the laboratory staff know that you take Vitanum Capsule before undergoing any blood and urine examinations.
