Tears Plus Drops is a combination medicine used to provide relief from burning sensation, irritation, and discomfort due to dryness of the eye or due to irritation. Tears Plus Drops helps in refreshing and lubricating the eyes. Dry eyes is an eye condition that occurs when your natural tears are unable to provide ample lubrication for the eyes.

Tears Plus Drops is a combination of three drugs, namely: Povidone, Polyvinyl alcohol, and Chlorbutol. Polyvinyl alcohol acts as a lubricant that works as natural tears and helps in providing relief from burning sensation, dryness, and discomfort. Povidone acts as an antiseptic, kills the bacteria, and provides relief from minor irritation. Chlorbutol acts as a preservative. Together, Tears Plus Drops helps in treating dry eyes.

Tears Plus Drops is for ophthalmic (eye) use only. You are advised to use Tears Plus Drops for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as eye discomfort, pain, blurred vision, and irritation. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Directions for Use

Tears Plus Drops is for ophthalmic use only. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after using Tears Plus Drops. Lie down and tilt your head backwards. Pull your lower eyelid gently with your index finger to form a pocket. Instil the number of drops as advised by the doctor into the pocket of the lower eyelid. Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes. Replace the outer cap after use. Please do not touch the container’s tip to the eye, eyelids or surrounding areas as it may contaminate Tears Plus Drops.
