About Softeron-Z Capsule

Softeron-Z Capsule is used to treat iron deficiency anaemia. Iron deficiency occurs mainly due to poor diet, poor absorption of food or increased folate use in the body (during pregnancy). Anaemia is a condition in which the body does not have enough red blood cells to carry the adequate oxygen required to various body tissues.

Softeron-Z Capsule contains Folic acid, Copper, Docusate Sodium, Iron, and Dried yeast. Iron and folic acid work by boosting the production of red blood cells (RBC) in the body. Folic acid also prevents miscarriage and neural tube defects in infants when used by pregnant women. Docusate Sodium is a stool softener that prevents constipation, a common side effect of iron supplements. Copper supports the immune system and helps in the production of RBC.

Your doctor will decide the dosage based on your medical condition. In some cases, Softeron-Z Capsule may cause side effects like stomach upset, nausea, vomiting, bloating/gas, and diarrhoea. These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if these side effects persist longer, please consult your doctor.

Please inform your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components. Brief your medical history to the doctor if you have any heart/kidney/liver/ diseases, iron overload disorders like hemochromatosis, hemosiderosis, and intestinal problems (ulcer, colitis) before starting Softeron-Z Capsule . It is essential to seek medical advice before starting Softeron-Z Capsule if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is advised to avoid alcohol intake since it may hinder the absorption of Softeron-Z Capsule .
