About Sofinox Cream

Sofinox Cream is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial skin infections such as impetigo, infected cuts and abrasions, infected eczema and contact dermatitis. 
 
Sofinox Cream contains ‘Sodium fusidate’ that works by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required for the survival of the bacteria. Thereby, Sofinox Cream helps in treating skin infections.
 
Sofinox Cream is generally well-tolerated. However, it may cause mild stinging sensation and irritation in some cases. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. If the side effects persist or worsen, consult your doctor.
 
Do not use Sofinox Cream if you are allergic to any of its components. Consult your doctor before using Sofinox Cream if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Avoid contact of Sofinox Cream with eyes, nose or mouth; if contact occurs accidentally, rinse thoroughly with water.

Sofinox Cream belongs to the group of medicines called ‘antibiotics’ used to treat bacterial skin infections such as impetigo, infected cuts and abrasions, infected eczema and contact dermatitis. Sofinox Cream contains ‘Sodium fusidate’ that works by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required for the survival of the bacteria. Thereby, Sofinox Cream helps in treating skin infections. Sofinox Cream is indicated for treating and prophylaxis of skin infections caused by Staphylococcus bacteria. 

Directions for Use

Cream/Ointment/Gel: Apply it onto the affected area and gently massage it in.Spray: Shake well before use and spray the contents from a 5cm distance on the affected area. Replace the cap tightly after use. Do not pierce or burn the container even though it is empty. Avoid direct inhalation. Do not spray on a naked flame or incandescent material.Powder: Check the label for directions before use. It should be used under medical supervision only.
