Rexidin Plus Mouth Rinse is a combination medicine used to treat mouth infections, and gingivitis (gum inflammation) and prevents tooth decay (cavities). Mouth problems could occur due to infections caused by bacteria or viruses. Mouth problems involve teeth, gums, tongue, lips, inner cheeks, the roof of the mouth, and under the tongue or teeth. Rexidin Plus Mouth Rinse effectively kills the excess growth of harmful microbes present on the intact skin of the mouth and oral cavities.
Rexidin Plus Mouth Rinse is a combination of three drugs, namely: Chlorhexidine, Sodium monofluorophosphate and Triclosan. Chlorhexidine kills the infection-causing micro-organisms by binding to the surface of teeth, gums and inner cheeks. Sodium monofluorophosphate prevents cavities/decay caused by bacteria and makes teeth stronger. Triclosan kills micro-organisms by damaging their outer covering. Together, Rexidin Plus Mouth Rinse helps in treating mouth infections.
