Otovas-M Capsule is used to improve cognitive/mental function. Otovas-M Capsule is used to treat depression, memory disorders, anxiety, dementia (memory loss) in Alzheimer's disease, and dizziness (vertigo). Alzheimer's disease is a neurological disorder that causes dementia (memory loss) and slowly destroys the ability to think, learn, communicate, and handle daily activities.

Otovas-M Capsule contains Ginkgo Biloba and Methylcobalamin (Vitamin B12/ Mecobalamin). Ginkgo Biloba is a herbal product. It acts as an antioxidant and works by improving blood circulation in the brain, eyes, ears and legs, thus helping in the better functioning of these organs. Methylcobalamin regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis. It is essential in forming red blood cells and the proper functioning of the nervous system.

Take Otovas-M Capsule as prescribed by your doctor. Common side effects of Otovas-M Capsule include stomach upset, headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, skin rash, pounding of the heart, and mouth irritation. These side effects are not familiar to everyone and vary individually. If you notice any side effects that are not manageable, please consult your doctor.

Drug-Drug Interaction: Otovas-M Capsule may interact with antidepressants (trazodone), anti-coagulant (aspirin, warfarin, clopidogrel, ticlopidine), antacids (omeprazole), pain killers (naproxen, ibuprofen), fits medicines (gabapentin, phenytoin), and antidiabetics (insulin).

Drug-Food Interaction: Do not consume alcohol while taking Otovas-M Capsule as it could lead to increased dizziness.
