Gutezy Tablet 10's

Gutezy Tablet contains digestive enzymes. It is primarily used to treat indigestion. Indigestion/dyspepsia can be defined as the inability to digest food associated with stomach pain and discomfort. Gutezy Tablet helps treat conditions such as dyspepsia (indigestion), loss of appetite, flatulence (gas), and bloating.

Gutezy Tablet contains Pancreatin, bile constituents and Activated dimethicone. Pancreatin and bile constituents break down or digest proteins, fats, and carbohydrates, whereas dimethicone decreases the surface tension of gas bubbles, thereby facilitating gas expulsion through burping.

Gutezy Tablet is generally safe for use. It rarely causes side effects like nausea, constipation, diarrhoea, and abdominal pain. If these side effects worsen, please consult your doctor. Gutezy Tablet should be taken as advised by your doctor.

Gutezy Tablet should be avoided if you are allergic to any of the components present in it. Keep your doctor informed about your health condition, including medical history, to rule out any side effects/interactions. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or breastfeeding before taking Gutezy Tablet .

Gutezy Tablet is a combination of three medicines: pancreatin, bile constituents (digestive enzyme), and activated dimethicone (antiflatulent). Pancreatin and bile constituents are pancreatic enzymes that work by breaking down or digesting proteins, fats, and carbohydrates. Activated dimethicone works by decreasing the surface tension of gas bubbles, thereby facilitating gas expulsion through burping. Thus, Gutezy Tablet helps treat digestive problems and promotes the digestion of carbohydrates and proteins. It also helps in the absorption of essential nutrients in the intestine.

Discontinue taking Gutezy Tablet and inform your doctor if you have any allergic reactions to Gutezy Tablet . Keep your doctor informed about your health condition, including medical history, to rule out any side effects. It is advised not to take other medicines for at least 2 hours after taking Gutezy Tablet , as this medicine may stop other medicines from getting into the body.  Before taking, inform your doctor about your complete medication history, including OTC (over-the-counter) medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or breastfeeding before taking Gutezy Tablet . This medicine is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age unless prescribed by your paediatrician.

Drug-Drug Interactions: Gutezy Tablet has interactions with certain medicines and vitamins. Hence inform your doctor about your complete medication history, including OTC products, for further prevention of side effects.

Drug-Food Interactions: Avoid smoking and consumption of alcohol while on treatment with Gutezy Tablet .

• Eat foods rich in probiotics, such as yoghurt/curd, buttermilk, natto, and cheese.
• Try to add fibre-rich food like whole grains, beans, lentils, berries, broccoli, peas, and bananas to your daily diet, which helps aid digestion.
• Avoid eating too much, eating too fast, and eating high-fat foods, which can burden your stomach.
• Eat small meals at regular intervals so that the stomach does not have to work. Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption.  
• Maintain a healthy weight by regular exercising.

Dyspepsia: Also called indigestion, is defined as the inability to digest food that is associated with pain and discomfort in the stomach. Symptoms may include bloating, abdominal pain, burning sensation in the stomach, gas, and belching.

Flatulence: Also known as farting, it is defined as the build-up of gas in the digestive system that can lead to abdominal discomfort and distress. Symptoms may include abdominal discomfort, passing gas, rumbling in the lower abdomen, etc.
