Ginkosam-60 Tablet is used to improve cognitive/mental function. Ginkosam-60 Tablet is used to treat depression, memory disorders, anxiety, dementia (memory loss) in Alzheimer's disease, and dizziness (vertigo). Alzheimer's disease is a neurological disorder that causes dementia (memory loss) and slowly destroys the ability to think, learn, communicate, and handle daily activities.
Ginkosam-60 Tablet contains Ginkgo Biloba extract and S-adenosyl L-methionine. Ginkgo Biloba is a herbal product. It is widely used to treat memory and thought problems, anxiety, and vision problems. Ginkgo acts as an antioxidant and works by improving blood circulation in the brain, eyes, ears, and legs, thus helping improve the functioning of these organs. S-adenosyl L-methionine is a manufactured form of a naturally occurring substance found in cells, tissue, and body fluids. It affects certain chemical messengers (serotonin) in the brain that communicate between the brain cells to regulate mood changes and thus treat depression.
Take Ginkosam-60 Tablet as advised by your doctor. Common side effects of Ginkosam-60 Tablet include stomach upset, headache, dizziness, constipation, nausea, vomiting, gas, diarrhoea, dry mouth, insomnia (sleeplessness), and sweating.
