Gabafix Gel is used to treat neuropathic pain, acute musculoskeletal pain, joint stiffness, neck, back, and shoulder injuries. Neuropathic pain is a progressive nerve disease which causes nerve pain due to a damaged or malfunctioning nervous system. Musculoskeletal pain affects the bones, muscles, ligaments, tendons, and nerves.
Gabafix Gel contains Pregabalin, Diclofenac, Methyl Salicylate, Menthol, and Capsaicin. Pregabalin works by modulating the calcium channel activity of the nerve cells. Diclofenac and Methyl salicylate work by blocking the effect of chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation. Capsaicin exerts an analgesic effect by desensitising the nerve endings. Menthol provides a cooling sensation by dilating the blood vessels. Together, Gabafix Gel helps in providing relief from pain.
