Anaemia is a condition in which the body does not have enough red blood cells for carrying the adequate oxygen required to various body tissues.

Feryxia Tablet contains 'Ferric Citrate,' an essential body mineral. It is a nutritional supplement required by the red blood cells to carry oxygen to other body cells and tissues. By combining with a protein in the blood called haemoglobin, iron helps carry adequate oxygen to various body parts. Feryxia Tablet also has immunity-enhancing, anti-carcinogenic (preventing cancer), and cognition-enhancing properties.

Your doctor will decide the dosage based on your medical condition. In some cases, it may cause side effects like constipation, diarrhoea, stomach cramps, dark stools, loss of appetite, and upset stomach. What if I have taken an overdose of Feryxia Tablet

Please do not exceed the recommended dose, as it might cause an overdose. Signs and symptoms of an overdose of Feryxia Tablet may include nausea, severe stomach pain, bloody diarrhea, coughing up blood or vomit, shallow breathing, weak and rapid pulse, pale skin, blue lips, seizure (convulsions), and fatal (especially in a young child). Seek immediate medical attention if you observe these symptoms or think you might have taken too much. Do this even if there are no signs of discomfort or poisoning.

Feryxia Tablet is a dietary supplement that contains Ferric Citrate. It works by boosting the production of red blood cells (RBC) in the body, thus treating iron deficiency associated anaemia.
It is recommended not to take Feryxia Tablet with tea, coffee, milk, and eggs since they might interfere with iron absorption from Feryxia Tablet.
Feryxia Tablet is best absorbed if taken on an empty stomach. But in some patients, Feryxia Tablet may cause gastrointestinal disturbances like stomach upset when taken without food. So, please take it as suggested by your doctor if you have stomach problems.
Feryxia Tablet may cause constipation as one of its side effects. Eating fibre rich foods like vegetables, fresh fruits, and cereals and drinking plenty of water can help relieve symptoms.
Antacids may interfere with the absorption of iron. Hence it is advised to take Feryxia Tablet two hours before or four hours after taking antacids.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is time for the next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and follow your usual dosage. Do not double the dose.
