Collofil-MM Collagen Particles 5x10 ml is composed of two antibiotics: Mupirocin and Metronidazole. Mupirocin is an antibacterial drug. It prevents the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out its vital functions, thus preventing bacterial growth. Metronidazole belongs to the class of drugs called nitroimidazole antimicrobials. It exerts bactericidal (kills bacteria) action and inhibits bacterial DNA synthesis and cell growth.

Cover the affected areas with a dressing or bandage only if the doctor advised you to do so. Collofil-MM Collagen Particles 5x10 ml is not recommended for use in diaper rash, which is often caused due to fungus. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should use Collofil-MM Collagen Particles 5x10 ml only with proper doctor consultation and caution. • Do not walk barefoot at places like gym showers to prevent infections.

• Do not scratch the affected area of skin as it can spread the infection to other body parts.

• Avoid sharing towels, combs, bedsheets, shoes or socks with others.

• Wash your bed sheets and towels regularly.

• Avoid or limit the intake of alcohol and caffeine.

• Manage stress, eat healthily, drink plenty of water, exercise regularly and get plenty of sleep.
